Our Last Swim Day

Thank you parents for getting ready and here!  I'm so glad we got a break between the thunderstorms to enjoy a beautiful last swim day!

A day in the life in a Montessori classroom...

Sometimes we make messes, but we always clean them up...

Sometimes we choose to clean things just because we like our classroom to be beautiful...

Sometimes we choose a work we already know and we experiment to learn something new...

Sometimes we practice things that make us more independent with everyday tasks...

Sometimes works can be kind of tricky, but we like to do them anyway...

Sometimes we like to work with numbers...

Sometimes we like to write our strokes...

We get to help eachother by washing clothes...

We love to share with friends...

We are always very careful...

Some of our works get really big...

Sometimes our works twist and turn...

We wash our dishes and then...

we eat our snacks on nice clean plates...

We learn concepts like big and small...

Our works don't work unless we do them right...

We get to choose things like which color we want
and how much to use...

We can get a little silly because we are having so much fun...

but having fun doesn't make us any less focused...

We love to see what we can create...

We love to help each other...

Sometimes putting everything away is the best part...

Sometimes we practice our sounds...

Sometimes we choose to do a work over and over...

We love to show everyone what we did...

We always love to practice what we know
and to learn something new...

Sometimes one friend will inspire another...

Sometimes we don't even notice the teacher looking...

Sometimes we just want to play!
